(WHY WE'RE RAFFLING OUR TOP-OF-THE-RANGE CAMPER VANS)

WHY ARE YOU RAFFLING THE CAMPERVANS?

 

I bought the Wildax Pulsar in November 2018 to drive around the UK, growing 'Wildscaping Worldwide'.  Sadly my mum became very poorly and she died suddenly in January 2020.  After Covid 19 struck in March, it became apparent that travelling to 'Wildscape' local UK communities was temporarily impossible - By raffling the vans (for a minimum number of tickets) I can clear the loan from my family (who fronted the capital for the van) plus raise an additional £5000 to register WW as a charity. 

 

I have decided to raffle my lovely little van because it...   A. Means that anyone who may not normally be able to afford a van will get the chance to live the life of their dreams and...  B. It allows me to set a target to pay a solicitor to help me to register as a charity.

On hearing of my idea, my ex-Partner who had a slightly older Wildax Constellation (also in excellent condition, bought in 2016) suggested we raffle our 2 vans together, meaning that anyone who donates BEFORE NEW YEARS DAY can be entered into 2 draws, to have 2 chances to win a top of the range camper van.  

 

(My ex-Partner's reason for selling is because over the years he has donated generously to my non profit work & this is an opportunity for him to reinvest (ethically) the money from the van to continue contributing to Wildscaping Worldwide long term).

WHAT ARE THE RUNNING COSTS?

- Gas - Approximately £10 to fill a 20L LPG tank

(During winter this can last 72 hours of significant heating/cooking AND during summer it lasted 6 weeks of intermittent heating & cooking).

- Habitation Checks - Up to £300 annually.

- ‘Outsmart The Thief’ - £95 per annum.

 

 

HOW DO I ENTER?

Click on DONATE and donate £10 for 1 ticket, £20 for 2 tickets and so on...

 

WHERE WILL ALL THE ENTRIES BE STORED?

All Entries will be safely stored in a bespoke database.

 

WHERE DO I FIND MY TICKET NUMBERS?

On donation, your name will go straight into the Prize Draw Database (along with the number of tickets you have bought) to be drawn from as soon as we hit the target ticket amount.

 

IF I BUY (3) TICKETS WILL MY NAME APPEAR 3 TIMES IN THE DRAW?

Yes - If you pay £30 for 3 tickets (for example) your name will be listed in the database 3 times.

WHAT IF YOU DON’T SELL ENOUGH TICKETS?

For the van transfers to take place, a minimum of 22,644 Donations are required.

 

If ticket sales do not reach the target figure BY 1st MAY 2021 there will be a cash prize instead of the vans.  

 

The cash prize will be 80% of ticket receipts, minus checkout processing fees.  More details can be found in the Terms & Conditions.

Anyone over the age of 18 can enter the prize draw.

 

HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE CHOSEN?

We will use the random number generator, Random.org.  

 

On the day(s) of the draw(s), a legal representative will be invited to oversee the entries of all ticket holders into the draws and to ‘press the button’ to initiate the process and generate a random name.

The process will be filmed.

We will then telephone the winner and, once they have been contacted and their identity verified, their name and place of residence will be displayed on the website and Facebook page, along with the video of the draw.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CAN’T CONTACT THE WINNER?

If we are unable to contact the winner after 21 days, we will draw a new winner/winners.

 

IS THIS LEGAL?

Yes, we are not 'selling' lottery tickets but asking for Donations in return for membership to the 'WW Club' and gifting a free prize for our kind Donors.

 

This means that the prize draw does not fall within the definition of a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005. A legal representative will oversee the Draw(s).

 

IS THE PROCESS OPEN TO INDEPENDENT SCRUTINY?

If anyone wishes to challenge the validity of the Prize Draw(s), they are welcome to do so, through the appointment of an independent, accredited auditor, at their own expense and within 7 days of the Prize Draw(s).
